I tell ya what, if you are having any tension and pain, I highly recommend the massage roller by Dance Crazy. After my workouts, I get this nasty knot in my shoulder and tightness in my IT Band. I wanted to use this massage ball for a couple weeks after my workouts to really see how it works and I like it a lot better than a tennis or golf ball!
If you’ve ever used a tennis ball as a massager, you know that the ball doesn’t get deep enough into your muscle to release tension. This massage ball does because it has a perfect handle that you can use to hold onto while using pressure onto the specific area. My kids loved using it as well after their swim practices AND they love to massage my back with it. I also like that it’s small and more manageable than carrying around my foam roller!
Now only if I can keep it away from my kids and away from the college kid who run cross country!!!
